Located in North Alabama, Marshall County is home to the state’s largest lake, Lake Guntersville, and modern sports amenities for playing on-and-off the water. The 69,000 acre body of water is home to some of the biggest wins in bass fishing. Lake Guntersville also lays claim to the fastest water in the South. In the 1950’s, top racers came to compete in the National Inboard and Outboard Championships. World records were set in the next decade that still remain today.

If you think we’re like every other water destination, you won’t when you leave

Play under the lights with the lake as a backdrop, or in our newest state of the art facility featuring turf fields and stadium seating. Cast your line along rocky ledges or in quiet coves. No matter the game, you can catch it here at Lake Guntersville.

At the end of a competitive day, relax with us. Eat fresh seafood lakeside and enjoy one of our amazing sunsets. Join friends at one of our local sports pubs for a pint of craft beer and delicious wings. Pile into one of the many party rooms at more than a dozen local restaurants and rehash the day’s best plays while grabbing a bite of southern fried.

In Marshall County, we play hard; we win big; and we eat good.
