Family-Friendly Things to Do at Sand Mountain Park & Amphitheater

Located in Albertville, Alabama, Sand Mountain Park & Amphitheater is the place for your family to enjoy throughout the year. They offer a variety of activities suitable for everyone!

Indoor Aquatics Center and Outdoor Water Park

Sand Mountain Park offers both an indoor aquatic center and an outdoor water park for your enjoyment. During the winter, you can still have fun in the water and stay warm in the indoor aquatic center. It features an 8-lane lap pool, a therapeutic pool, water element features for kids, and a Ninja Cross obstacle course. In the summer, you can enjoy the outdoor water park with a lazy river, two waterslides, a splash pad, and a lap pool. You can purchase a Day Pass at Guest Services in the Fitness Center for $15 per person, and children aged 4 and under can enter for free.

Playground and Walking Trails

Take a stroll and enjoy the scenery all around the complex. This walking trail wraps around the complex and is an easy 3.5 miles. They also offer eight playgrounds for different ages that are almost 100% handicap accessible.

Dog Parks
Bring your pups, small or large to enjoy the dog parks. They are open from sunrise to sunset daily and available to all park visitors. Your furry friends can even enjoy the mini fire hydrants and water bowls provided.

Amphitheater
Catch a concert or comedy show during the spring and summer months! If you are visiting during the winter, no problem! Sand Mountain Park has the largest outdoor ice rink in North Alabama. They offer public skate sessions, 15$ a person; $8 if you bring your own skates. You can learn more about concerts and the ice rink here.

RV Park
Whether you are in Marshall County for a ball tournament or just passing through, Sand Mountain RV Park is the place to stay.
