How to Spend the Perfect Weekend with Your Sand Mountain Amphitheater Concert

So, you’ve booked your tickets for the hottest concert at Sand Mountain Amphitheater and now you need a place to stay, restaurants to eat at and some more things to do. We got you covered! The Albertville area offers top of the line hotels that are just a few minutes drive from Sand Mountain Park and Amphitheater. If you are looking to grab some points, there are Hilton, Marriott and Wyndham properties that will help you accomplish that. Both the Fairfield Inn by Marriott and the Hampton Inn are new being open within the last three years. The Microtel Inn and Suites is also located nearby. Where to Eat

Whatever you are hungry for, there are plenty of options to choose from. If you are looking for tacos, Gordo’s Way is the place to go for birria tacos that you will crave long after you leave. Burgers? Got those too, try out Beef ‘O’ Bradys for a wide selection and even for some wings and sandwiches. Want the best pizza ever? Jules J. Berta Vineyards and Winery is the spot for that. Their wood fired pizza is the best, and you must try their wine slushies too. Bootlegger’s in Downtown Albertville is also a great option for pizza too. For a complete different vibe that is a local’s favorite, Papa Dubi’s Cajun Kitchen is the spot to go to. Things to Do

Sand Mountain Park’s Outdoor Water Park should definitely be your number one thing to do when you are in town for your Sand Mountain Amphitheater concert. The water park has two huge slides, a lazy river, and splash pad for the smaller kids as well. The Outdoor Water Park is open from Memorial Day weekend until Labor Day weekend. If that doesn’t fancy you, try out exploring Downtown Albertville. Shopping is a must with some of the cutest shops that include Stach & Co., Blossom Boutique , and Bucci Boutique. The Albertville Museum is also located within the downtown area which offers a great history of the area and when it was founded. Looking for something unique to see? Downtown Albertville is also home to a speakeasy that is set just like prohibition times. Busted Oak Bourbon Society offers a laidback atmosphere where you can enjoy classic, handcrafted cocktail, a glass of fine wine or your favorite beer. Enjoy cigars? They have an excellent selection and a private smoking lounge. Last, but not least, check out the local brewery, Main Channel. Their Amber Ale and New England IPA are some of the favorites!

Located just 15 minutes from Albertville, you can enjoy the great outdoors. If you are looking for a hike, explore Lake Guntersville State Park. They also have horseback riding and ziplining too. Cathedral Caverns State Park offers tours that take you deep inside one of the most magnificent natural wonders. You can also head south of Albertville to check out impressive public art in Boaz.
