This weather is starting to warm up and spring is almost here! It is now the perfect time to get out and enjoy the outdoors and enjoy the blooming flowers. Staying active is great when you have beautiful places to walk! Check out all the walking trails that Marshall County has to offer.
Arab City Park
Arab City Park offers two walking trails, making it an ideal destination for outdoor activities with your family. The trail circles the entire city park and is 1.6 miles long, making it perfect for running, walking, or biking. Additionally, this trail is pet-friendly, so bring your fur babies along for the walk.
Sand Mountain Park
You can stay active at Sand Mountain Park in Albertville! This walking trail is 3.5 miles long and takes you around the entire complex. Dogs are allowed but must be on a leash. Throughout the trail, you will also find four different playgrounds for all ages. To learn more, click here!
Old Mill Park
Located in Boaz, Old Mill Park is open daily from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. You can enjoy the walking track and playgrounds and during the warmer months, the splash pad. You can learn more about Old Mill Park here!
Guntersville Walking Trail
Get out and see the beauty of Lake Guntersville! The trail begins at the Chamber of Commerce and ends at the Water Treatment Plan. The two trails are not interconnected, but they amount to a total distance of 7.32 miles. They have recently finished another part of the trail that goes underneath the River Bridge and around to City Harbor. Both are pet-friendly but must be on a leash!
